SCRIP is a year round tuition reduction program. Dozens of local and national businesses (such as Piggly Wiggly, Sentry, Pick-N-Save, Sendiks, WI Towing, Chancery, Pizza Hut, Kohls, Barnes & Noble, Home Depot, Old Navy, Office Max and Blockbuster, just to name a few) offer our school gift certificates at a discount percentage ranging from 2.5 to 20%. This discount on the gift certificate is then evenly distributed between the school and the designated family.
The program effectively allows you to place a percentage of your normal household shopping expenses into an account to help pay your children's tuition. The family portion can be used to offset your Port Catholic tuition or tuition expenses at any private school you designate including college and university. In past years families have earned as much as $500 off their tuition through the SCRIP program. The school benefits regardless of where you wish to use your credit by recovering half of the discount into the school's general fund.
To make things convenient SCRIP can be purchased or picked up at St. Mary's Campus on Mon.and Thurs mornings from 8:15-10 am, or from Harris Bank 11:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday and 9:00am - noon on Saturday.
